Operations and Performance Analysis / Senior Architect and Programmer
Location: Roseland, NJ
We’re looking for a self-starter, hard-working, team-player for this critical position in the Company.
- Responsibilities include:
- Programmer (C, C++, JAVA, Perl or Python)
- This is a senior, but hands-on programming position
- Candidate must be sophisticated and reliable enough to set their own directions, map out plans, define reports, and in general take ownership of these issues
- Must be a highly motivated, hard-working self-starter
- Excellent language and presentation skills necessary
- Education or Skills required:
- 5+ years experience writing detailed software modules for real-world, in-situ and in-vivo monitoring and performance alerting and optimization
- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science mandatory, Masters degree preferred. from a recognized university
- Experience with nagios and log file analyzers is a plus
- Our systems process real-time news and photo wires, so some exposure to digital media processing and transmission is necessary
