Acquire Media's computer scientists and engineers have been managing and delivering real-time news for over 15 years.
Our processing is fully XML-based, supporting precise categorization, filtering and tagging. Our engine provides indexing and alerting on exchanges/ticker symbols, company names, words, phrases, metadata and codes. Our ability to match complex phrases and patterns in real-time is unsurpassed in the industry.
We have developed three highly regarded software products that provide the foundation for our service offerings:
- AMPS - Advanced Media Protocol Suite: a failsafe, secure, on-demand, software VPN for real-time data push over any ip network including the public Internet.
- EnQue - Enterprise Query Engine: a near-zero latency indexing and permissioning system for real-time text feeds, supporting both alerting and searching.
- Cogent - Code Generation Technology: a Bayes classifier for high precision categorization and metadata code assignment.
All Acquire Media services run in your data centers or ours. We maintain fully redundant data centers on Tier-1, all-optical carrier-class providers: Qwest at the Newark, NJ CyberCenter, Level3 at a major switch in Salt Lake City, UT and our newest data center operating NAC in Cedar Knolls, NJ.
Each center is fully resilient, with world-class power and HVAC backup. Each center is also hardened against physical attacks, including a fully isolated building access system.
